The Friends of the Yarmouth Port Library is the
primary fundraising group, and we have a great time doing it. Over the years, we have provided funding for special acquisitions,
as well as supplies, museum passes, the newsletter, redecoration and refurbishment of the library, (including our gas fireplace)
and special children's programs.
The Friends of Yarmouth Port Library would like to thank everyone who sent in recipes for our library cookbook Cooking Along 6A. At the launch party on the day of the Yarmouth Port
Christmas Stroll, we sold almost 200 copies and by the end of the week all 400 copies had sold out. However,
the good news is that copies are once again available at the library and in local businesses. Almost 300
recipes are included. There's something for everyone--from traditional Cape Cod cooking to treasured family favorites.
